Every visitor gets a generous number of free checks per day — no signup, no ads. Unlike the counters on this site (which run entirely in your browser), this tool sends your text to an AI model for processing. It is processed and immediately discarded: never stored, never logged, never used for training.
What does the punctuation checker fix?
Commas, periods, semicolons, colons, apostrophes, quotation marks, hyphens and dashes, question and exclamation marks — plus capitalization where a punctuation fix requires it. It deliberately leaves your word choice, grammar and tone alone; for full corrections use the Grammar Checker.
Is it a comma checker too?
Yes — comma placement is the most common fix: missing commas after introductory phrases, comma splices, serial commas and commas around clauses. Paste a sentence and it returns the corrected version instantly.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. Your text is sent to the AI model, checked, and the corrected version comes back — processed, never stored. No copies, no logs, and your text is never used for training.
Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes — paste text in most major languages and it fixes that language's punctuation conventions (including Spanish inverted marks and French spacing rules).
Should I still proofread after using this?
Yes. This is a mechanical punctuation pass — it can miss ambiguous cases (like a comma that could go either way) and it doesn't check grammar, spelling or meaning at all. Read the corrected version once before you publish or send it, especially for anything formal.
