Cursive text
How it works (and its limits)
The generator maps each letter to the matching character in Unicode's Mathematical Script alphabet — the same letters used in mathematical notation. Because they are ordinary Unicode characters, they survive copy-paste into any app.
Only the basic Latin alphabet (a–z, A–Z) has cursive counterparts; numbers, punctuation, accented letters and other scripts pass through unchanged.
Screen readers often announce these as "mathematical script letters" or spell them out, so keep cursive text decorative — don't use it for anything essential.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion is a simple character mapping that runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, stored, or logged.
How can I paste cursive into Instagram or X?
These aren't fonts — each letter is a Unicode "Mathematical Script" character, so the style is part of the text itself. Convert, copy, and paste it into any bio, caption or post; no app support needed.
What's the difference between the two styles?
Both come from Unicode's mathematical alphabets: regular script (𝒸𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓋ℯ) is lighter, bold script (𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮) is heavier and often renders more consistently across platforms — some apps' fonts show the regular set with gaps.
Why don't numbers change?
Unicode's script alphabets cover letters only (a–z, A–Z). Numbers, punctuation and accented characters have no cursive counterpart, so they pass through unchanged.
